Purpose:Todetermineiftheenclosureprovidessufficientprotectionfromdustintrusionfrom

windblownsandandroaddusttoallowtheDUTtocontinuetomeettheperformancerequirements

specifiedintheCTS.Theaccumulationofdustonheatsinkdeviceswilladverselyaffectheatdissipation.Dustmayalsocombinewithhumidityandsalttoproduceunintentionalconductivepaths.Dustaccumulationwilladverselyaffectelectro-mechanicaldevicesresultinginincreasedfrictionorcompleteblockageofmotion.

目的:用来确定当有风沙和路面灰尘干扰时,附件能否提供充分的保护使得DUT继续达到CTS中所指明的运行要求。

Procedure(OperatingType1.2):TestaccordingtoISO20653Protectionagainstobjects,water

andaccess.ThistestshallbeconductedusingISO12103-1,A2FineGradeDustandshouldoccur

foraperiodof8hours.

过程（操作方式1.2）：测试根据ISO20653针对水等物体的防护。测试须使用ISO12103-1,A2X良等X，同时，粉尘需持续8个小时。

Criteria:FunctionalStatusshallbeclassA.

标准：功能状态须为AX

TheDUTshallexperiencenodamage,lossoffunction,ordegradationofperformance.TheDUTshallpasstheFunctional/ParametricTestattheendoftestpriortocleaning.

DUT应避免受损,破坏功能,或降解其性能。DUT在清洁前须通过功能/参数测试。

A4轻约一公斤？按理说A2粉尘含有更多小颗粒，那应该重量更重才对啊？为何实际情况正好相反？

的确是含有更多的小颗粒，同样容积的塑料瓶内A2的试验粉尘颗粒数目也相对于ISO 12103-1 A4 Coarse Test
Dust 更多。

　　但是，较大尺寸的粉尘颗粒本身的重量较之小颗粒要更重，虽然A4粉尘的数量不及A2多，但重量却更重；另外，每个单X的粉尘颗粒之间会有空气存在，因此越多颗粒，也就意味着越多的空气，这样的后果就是较低的容重。比如一加仑罐子装0-3微米亚利桑那道路试验粉尘，其重量大概只有1.5公斤，而同样罐子装ISO粗灰，则重达4.5公斤。
